TA Luft is a set of German technical regulations for air quality control, not a UK-specific law.  It is part of Germany’s Federal Immission Control Act (BImSchG) and sets requirements for industrial and commercial facilities to limit air pollutant emissions.
 While TA Luft does not apply directly in the UK, UK-based companies operating in Germany or dealing with German regulations may need to comply with it.  The UK has its own air quality and environmental regulations, such as the Environmental Permitting (England and Wales) Regulations and the UK’s approach to emissions trading and industrial permitting
